I've just purchased a new, in the box Soling 1M from a fellow on eBay. Should be delivered early next week. He bought it for his wife (he already had one for himself) but never built it. I'm anxious to get started.

I live in Southern New Hampshire and so far I've found a couple of clubs that are over an hour away. I'm hoping to find folks nearer to me to sail with. I don't think I'll mind sailing solo, but it's much more fun with some friendly competition. I've got a Chrysler 26' and I know from experience that when you've got two sailboats on similar courses, you've got a race. ;^)

I'm already involved in RC planes and helicopters. So, I'm planning on using my 2.4gHz radios. I'm pretty locked in to Spektrum and wondering if anyone has experience with the 3 channel marine RX they offer?

Most of the water around here is too hard to sail on right now. But that will give me time to build it right.

Have a great day!

Anyone have any tips for building a new Soling? I'm looking for any competitive advantages I could get. - Wutend

Hi, everyone! I found this site from the victor model home page. I bought my Soling a couple years ago and have a blast sailing it.
